    RodBooks Refund Policy

    Last updated: May 10, 2026

    15 days

After your initial paid purchase to request a refund.

    No book generated

You must not have generated any book with the paid features.

    5 credits or fewer

You must not have used more than 5 credits since upgrading.

    1. 15-day money-back guarantee

We offer a 15-day money-back guarantee on your first paid RodBooks subscription (Pro or Business, monthly or annual). If RodBooks isn’t the right fit, contact us within 15 days of your initial paid charge and we will issue a full refund - provided you meet the eligibility rules below.

    2. Eligibility

Refund requests are eligible only if all of the following are true at the moment of your request:

    • Less than 15 days have passed since the date of your initial paid purchase.
    • You have not generated any book (Word Search, Sudoku, Crossword, Maze, or any other book export) on your paid plan.
    • You have used 5 credits or fewer since upgrading.
    • Your account is in good standing and has not violated our Terms & Conditions.

These conditions exist to protect both honest customers and the cost of running our AI-powered tools.

    3. Cancellations via Polar

All RodBooks subscriptions are billed by Polar. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Polar customer portal, accessible from your RodBooks billing page. Cancellation stops future renewals immediately; you keep paid access until the end of your current billing period. Cancelling does not by itself trigger a refund - to request one, follow the steps in Section 4.

    4. How to request a refund

Email us at support@rodbooks.com from the address on your account with:

    • Your account email and the plan you purchased.
    • The Polar order or invoice number (visible in your billing receipts).
    • A short note explaining why RodBooks isn’t a fit.

We typically review refund requests within 1–3 business days and process approved refunds back to your original payment method via Polar within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

    5. After the refund

Once your refund is approved, your subscription is cancelled and your account is moved back to the Free plan. You keep access to anything still allowed on the Free plan; paid features and quotas are removed.

    6. What is not refundable

    • Renewals after the first paid period (monthly or annual).
    • Subscriptions with books already generated or more than 5 credits used.
    • Accounts terminated for breaches of our Terms (abuse, fraud, chargebacks, prohibited content).
    • Add-on purchases or one-time fees explicitly marked “non-refundable”.
    • Free accounts (no payment to refund).

    7. Exceptions

We review unusual cases (long outages, accidental double charges, payment errors) on a good-faith basis. Statutory consumer rights in your country are unaffected by this policy.
